Anyone still considering what to buy the photographer in their life this Christmas may want to have a look at Scott Kelby's excellent book "The Photoshop CS book for Digital Photographers". It deals with sharpening, imageing sizing and colour management using Photoshop's latest incarnation in a simple and easy to take in manner. I got this book a few months ago on the recommendation of US based British photographer Stuart Conway and it has proved invaluble. I'm looking forward to getting my hands another book by Kelby titled "Adobe Photoshop CS Down and Dirty tricks".
On the subject of books its not to late to order an extra few copies of the British Press Photographers Association book "Five Thousand Days" which can still be bought in time for Christmas at Amazon here
